Restored classic films to be screened in Suzhou
The 2024 Classic Film Festival will take place in Suzhou from October 25 to November 3.
Eight household Chinese films, including Princess Iron Fan, The Black Cannon Incident, The Lonely Spirit in an Old Building, and The Story of Qiu Ju, and eight classic foreign films(see below) will be screened at five cinemas in the city - China Film Archive Jiangnan Center 中国电影资料馆(江南分馆), Suzhou Arts Cineplex (Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre branch) 苏艺影城(艺术中心IMAX店), Omnijoi International Cinema (The Emerald City branch) 幸福蓝海国际影城(苏州绿宝广场IMAX店), CGV Cinema (Suzhou Joy City branch) CGV影城(苏州大悦城IMAX激光店), and Dushu Lake Theater 独墅湖影剧院.
