A Glance at the Jiangsu Development Summit

Jiangsu Province, one of China's leading economic powerhouses, invites talents from both home and abroad to attend the Jiangsu Development Summit every two or three years, to help Jiangsu promote high-quality development and achieve the goal of common prosperity. The first Jiangsu Development Summit kicked off in Nanjing on May 20, 2017. Since its inception, the Summit has been serving as a platform for connection, exchange, cooperation and development among Jiangsu natives at home and abroad as well as influencers in various fields who have studied and worked in Jiangsu.

The previous three summits were held in 2017, 2019, and 2023 respectively. The theme of the latest summit is " Love Jiangsu and Build a Dream Together ". Generally, the organizing committee of the Summit publishes an open letter calling for Jiangsu natives across the world to visit the province and contribute to its development. In May, more than 1,000 Chinese and foreign guests gather in Jiangsu to provide suggestions and support for the province's development.

The 1st Jiangsu Development Summit: 2017

Theme: Building Dreams Together in Jiangsu

Achievements: 312 collaborations were achieved, including 49 industrial cooperation projects.

The 2nd Jiangsu Development Summit: 2019

Theme:“Joining New Jiangsu and Endeavouring for a New Era” and the 1st Global Jiangsu Businessmen Conference

Achievements: A total of 126 projects were acquired, with an investment of more than 450 billion yuan

The 3rd Jiangsu Development Summit: 2023

Theme: "Love Jiangsu and Build a Dream Together"

Achievements: A total of 132 projects were successfully signed, with a total investment of 480.4 billion yuan
