Chinese Dance Lotus Award given out in Nanjing

The awarding ceremony for 13th Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" was held in Nanjing on Saturday alongside with the opening of the 2024 Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" Tour at the Jiangsu Grand Theatre. Li Yi, Secretary of the Party Group, Vice Chairman, and Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, handed out the awards to the winners. Xu Ying, Member of the Standing Committee and Director General of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, delivered a speech.

Xu Ying welcomed artists and guests from all over the country and congratulated the award-winning work and the artist who won the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

The Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" is a national professional award of dance art jointly organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Dancers Association for the purpose of recognizing and rewarding outstanding dancers and dance works that have emerged in the field of dance art nationwide. Given out once every two years, the award has been held for 13 times so far.
