Suzhou Airport Code "SZO" launched

The exclusive airport code SZO for Suzhou has been launched, marking that Suzhou has officially become the "origin" and "destination" of international air routes. 

The three-letter code is developed by the International Air Transport Association by using three uppercase English letters as abbreviations for airport and other location names in air transport. Suzhou has launched the "SZO" three-letter code, which means that in the future, Suzhou citizens can choose international and regional destinations such as Paris, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan as their destinations, and directly search for air bus intermodal transportation products that depart from Suzhou city terminals and arrive in Shanghai by taking flights.

Since its opening last year, the Suzhou City Terminal of Shanghai Airport has attracted 12 airlines and served nearly 65,000 passengers. In the next step, Suzhou will build an international service center at the international arrival port of Shanghai Airport, seamlessly connecting the airport, aircraft, and ground transportation to provide better services for incoming and outgoing passengers.
