"Hong Kong—The Cross-Border Supply Chain Management Hub for Chinese Mainland Enterprises" promotional event held in Nanjing
Highlighting Hong Kong's advantages as an offshore trade and multinational supply chain management center, an event on the 29th of August urged Jiangsu enterprises to seize opportunities from China's Belt and Road Initiative, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to leverage Hong Kong for international business expansion.

Hong Kong's strategic positioning as an international financial, shipping, and trade hub, as well as a center for high-end global talent was the focus. The event also highlighted the advantages of Hong Kong's professional services industry and its active efforts to become a multinational supply chain management center, helping Jiangsu enterprises better manage their overseas production capacities and supply chain layouts.

He also detailed the services and roles of InvestHK in assisting enterprises to "go global".

Liu Hao, General Manager of E-commerce at Kidswant Children Co., Ltd., also shared practical experience in supply chain management with the attendees.
The promotional event and luncheon in Nanjing was hosted by Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Department responsible for Foreign Direct Investment) and was titled "Hong Kong—The Cross-Border Supply Chain Management Hub for Chinese Mainland Enterprises".
It was jointly hosted by InvestHK and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administration, People’s Republic of China, and co-organized with the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, and supported by the Jiangsu Modern Supply Chain Association, with additional backing from the Bank of East Asia (China) Limited.
