100 Suzhou city parks to recharge your day

Last spring, the "20-minute park effect" became a trending topic on Chinese social media. The buzz was inspired by studies revealing that spending just 20 minutes a day in a park can boost happiness and reduce stress. Luckily for residents and visitors, the number of green spaces in Jiangsu is steadily increasing.

As of early 2025, Suzhou has published its first-ever register of city parks, showcasing 100 parks in Suzhou's four county-level cities and six districts. 

These parks are designed to cater to a variety of needs. If you have 20 minutes to spare, why not visit one and experience some nature-inspired joy?
