Jiangsu records one trillion yuan in fiscal revenue in 2025

East China’s Jiangsu province recorded a general public budget revenue of 1024.57 billion yuan in 2025, an increase of 2.1% year on year, according to a provincial financial work conference held on Thursday. 

More proactive fiscal policies have effectively served the high-quality development of the economy and society. Nearly 9 billion yuan, including science and technology funds and construction funds for a manufacturing powerhouse, has been allocated at the provincial level. 28.12 billion yuan of various funds have been allocated to support the trade-in of consumer goods, fueling sales of over 244 billion yuan. 5.3 billion yuan of job stabilization subsidies and 3.1 billion yuan of employment subsidies have been distributed.
