In a recent interview with inJiangsu, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) said it will continue to recruit mainland students in 2026 through the national college entrance examination, or Gaokao, under the country's unified admissions system.
Since being included in the early admission batch by the Ministry of Education in 2007, the university has attracted a steady stream of high-performing students from across the mainland.
Prospective applicants are required to take this year's Gaokao and submit their application through the early admission batch via their local education authorities. No interview or additional written test will be required.
Admission will be based on candidates' Gaokao scores, excluding any bonus points, with selection made on a merit basis.
